ITINERARY
Day 1:
Note: On the first day, we will pick you up from Cusco or Sacred Valley of the Incas; we will coordinate with you before the horse riding to Machu Picchu.CUSCO –KILLARUMIYUQ –YANACOCHA - ANCASCOCHA
Transfer from Cusco to the started point of riding. After an hour of the journey, we will stop at the sacred Inca Killarumiyuc (in the Quechua language) or Moonstone sanctuary. It is an ancient temple dedicated to the deity of femininity. The site is not only an age-perfect design but also includes areas of cultivation systems and the moon cult became a sacred area for the people of the Andes. After seeing the agricultural experimental center, we will continue to the village of Ancawasi (3,331 m.a.s.l.). Then we will drive 25 minutes to Pumapata. Started Point We start Horseback riding to Machu Picchu on a wide path north, above the west bank of the river called Sambor. We will observe beautiful valleys, mountains, and you will see the Yanacocha Lake, then we will ascent for 30 minutes to the most amazing spot the Rainbow Mountain, Finally we will reach the lunch spot in the wide valley of Quenqomayu, then ride for 2 hours to our campsite.- Distance: 10 Km.

DAY 2: ANCASCOCHA – CAMICANCHA – OLLANTAYTAMBO – MACHU PICCHU
After a delicious breakfast, we will start our horseback riding Machu Picchu. We will descent gradually through potatoes fields, Inca Aqueducts and native trees of Chachacomo. This is a landscape of pastures and big fields. On the way, we will find indigenous Peruvian villages that still keep the Incas ancient traditions regarding agriculture, religion, music, language, culture, and others. This trail is known for its abundance of Huakani, or Masdevallia Orchids. If we’re here when they are flowering, we will delight in the sight of their brilliant, deep pink to magenta blooms. After crossing many little footbridges, we will reach the community of Camicancha (2800 m / 9186 ft), where we’ll take a Tourist Van. Then we will continue downhill, crossing the Urubamba River and finally arriving at the famous Sun Temple in Ollantaytambo. We will have time to explore the village and the temple before taking the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes (2040 m.a.s.l) in the afternoon. Once we get to Aguas Calientes, we will check in to our hotel where we will spend the night.DAY 4: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO.
We will get up early to enjoy the sunrise at Machu Picchu, eat breakfast, and take the bus towards the Inca ruins. We will have a guided tour that will take approximately 2 to 3 hours, and then you can climb Huayna Picchu. After we finish our visit, we will return to Aguas Calientes. You can enjoy amenities like lunch in the city, and later in the afternoon, we will take the train back, Perú Rail – Expedition *. Upon arrival in Cusco, our transfer will be waiting to take you on a private Van to your hotel. End of the adventure.Note on Itinerary

"Criollo horse" is called a horse breed that is distributed throughout South America, Central America, and North America. The "Criollo horse" is considered a hard resistance horse, famous for the marches of resistance that are held in Argentina and Uruguay, it is a horse for work in any field, but can be used as a riding horse for leisure riding, is a very versatile horse. A great companion to crossings, his character is friendly and always ready to listen his rider, sometimes it is quite territorial because remember "this breed grows up in nature". - During the Machu Picchu horse riding, the passenger will have access to various food. Dishes rich in calories, vitamins, and proteins will provide the energy you need for the trek.
 - Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served daily, and you will also receive snacks and hot drinks like infusions in the afternoon. Along with your breakfast, you will receive a cup of coca tea, which will help you adjust to the mountain's cold air.

How safe is it the horseback riding tour in Cusco?
The practice of outdoor activities has inherent risks. To reduce them to a minimum, Wari Adventures works with qualified personnel and qualified guides with experience in the places in which we operate. They are proud of their guides, and muleteers. All have a deep knowledge and great love for the work they do. Thanks to them, their safety record is excellent.Advice for horse riders
This tour is organized for all travelers and doesn't demand good physical condition because there are not hard activities to do. This package is dedicated to families.DUFFEL BAGS:
- Duffel bags are small suitcases or bags used to store your personal belongings. These will be handed out to clients one day before the start of the hike at our offices. In them, you will place the personal belongings needed for the Trek. As part of your tour package, you will be assigning a porter, who will carry up to 8kg of your gear. You will hand your duffel bags to our porters on the first day of the hike. The duffels will be returning to you at each campsite.
 - At the end of the hike, the duffels will be returning, something you will have to coordinate with your guide.
 - The measurements are 65 cm long x 40 cm wide.
 
LUGGAGE STORAGE:
- The trips on the Inca Trail and alternate routes do not need to carry your luggage, for which we have luggage storage service in our office; if you return from your trip to the same hotel where you stayed, you can leave it. - will return this equipment when you return from your trip and take it with you to your hotel. If you have valuable things, please contact us to take them into account and protect them.PICK-UPS

- The return from the city of Machupicchu requires absolute punctuality for the transportation organization, for which we will provide all the return details. - We buy the train tickets usually for 2:55 pm, so you can arrive at 7:00 pm in the city of Cusco, consider the time delay due to traffic in the city of Cusco. - The return includes transportation and transfers; we will be pending any change or delay in transportation and train services.IMPORTANT
- There is no internet service on the Inca Trail during the 3-day Trek, so that you will experience a better connection with nature. - In case of emergency, we have specialized doctors for immediate attention according to your requirements.- NOTE: The toilet facilities along the Inca Trail to Machupicchu have been improved both in infrastructure and in quantity and quality along the route, so a portable chemical toilet is not necessary for Wari Adventures due to sanitation issues with the staff in charge. - The itinerary provided here is subject to change without notice, depending on factors such as strikes, weather conditions, roadblocks, or other situations beyond our control.
