During this tour, we will visit the most essential and outstanding ceremonial ruins of the Inca Valley, starting in Sacsayhuaman and continuing with Pisac, Urubamba, and Ollantaytambo, Chinchero, Maras - Moray. We will also taste the local gastronomy, prepared with organic products grown in our family garden, in which you will be able to participate. We recommend this tour for those who want to experience a night under the stars in the Sacred Valley of Peru, accompanied by a warm bonfire on a family farm surrounded by nature and friendly pets.

ITINERARY

Brief itinerary

  • Day 1: Sacsayhuaman - Pisac - Urubamba - Ollantaytambo - Camping in Urubamba.
  • Day 2: Urubamba - Maras - Moray - Salineras - Chinchero - Hotel Cusco/Urubamba.

Day 1: Sacsayhuaman - Pisac - Urubamba - Ollantaytambo - Camping in Urubamba.

We will start our tour by picking you up at your hotel in Cusco at 7:00 am: 00 am, then we will head towards the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, a place dedicated to essential ceremonies such as the feast of the Sun or Inti Raymi; we will continue our tour visiting the ruins of Pisac, where you will witness the majestic cultivation terraces, built on the slopes, we will also observe the famous tombs of the Incas anchored in the mountains, it will be the perfect place to understand the great challenge and ingenuity that the Incas had to dominate the geography of nature. We will continue exploring the artisan market of Pisac, where we will meet some of the indigenous women of the Andes who maintain their textile traditions. Afterward, we will head to the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Urubamba, where we will enjoy a healthy and delicious lunch. In the afternoon, we will head to the living Inca city of Ollantaytambo and finish our first-day tour by spending a fantastic night in the Sacred Valley - Urubamba.

Day 2: Urubamba - Maras - Moray - Salineras - Chinchero - Hotel Cusco/Urubamba.

Early in the morning, we will go to Moray's ruins to contemplate the Incas' laboratory, where they experimented with agricultural production on the different levels of terraces. We will continue our tour through a farming field that will lead us to the mysterious salt mines of Maras; here, we will learn the process of salt production. This natural salt mine has been in operation for over a thousand years and is still used in the same artisanal way today. Before returning to our hotel, we will visit the Chinchero Ruins, characterized by the cultivation terraces and its colonial temple.
